Simon has been commissioned by Springline Arts to compose a piece for their resident clarinet trio for a high-profile Oxfordshire Arts event next year. The Friedrich Trio have performed the Beethoven op.11 Trio already alongside Daniel Rye’s successful arrangement of Schumann’s Dichterliebe for clarinet, violoncello and piano.
